The whole system as it is was actually designed for the primary card maker (me) to understand, not anyone else. I'm surprised people actually offer cards like that to people. I'd only proper as is because you'd have to be one masochistic SOB to rename those things. Not to mention I keep all of them on my computer and I don't feel like re-downloading them all.

Well I've voted no on the change because like a lot of others, I've gotten used to the card filenames and I also can't be bothered to change over all my cards. I agree that maybe explaining how it works could be a good way to make things easier for newcomers but personally I don't think it's that hard.

I agree with the masochism....too much effort for too little gain, trying to rename them all now. So much of this is just an intellectual discussion. Out of curiosity, how did you imagine that we would propose trades if not by file name? I can't think of a quicker, easier way than just referring to cpinkmm001, rather than "Pink 001 from the Manga Sailor Moon B&W set". In fact, it is for this reason that for the Quitter's Cards posts, it's specifically requested that people use filename rather than "PGSM Rei card number 012". The reason I ask is because at first I carried on the same naming convention as before, offering "Green 009" in trades without taking note of the set number. Kind of messed up my trade log as a result...my mistake. So if you've already planned out an easier way to handle this, I'm curious to find out and am open to change. (Much easier to change how we use the cards, I think, rather than trying to change the cards themselves.)

I've never really had a problem with the cards actually. A few of the sets are a little confusing, but it never bothered me much to figure out where the cards came from.

I voted yes, initally.. mostly cause I'm only like... 2 weeks old in this game.. but it's true, I am getting the hang of the set naming, though matching them to the set numbers can get slightly tedious.

I voted yes because I am masochistic and it would give me something to do, basically. :3

I'm voting no, because I just died a little inside at the idea of having to change all cards I have. ^^; And I got used to this system pretty quick. Only Lavender and Midnight sometimes make no sense to me. xD

I vote no, simply because I think it's easy enough to figure out and I do not wanna be bothered changing all my cards. To be perfectly honest, I'd probably lose interest and motivation if I had to redo them all.

Only Lavender and Midnight sometimes make no sense to me. xD I actually found Lavender easy to get used to o___o;. When I was collecting it that is XD.

Lavender was my stupid attempt at getting used to the card filenames, and Calico was of NO help whatsoever with any of it. XD So I just based it off of the few sets which had already been made, but I ended up getting confused and getting a lot of them backwards, etc. etc.
Midnight is the only one that just downright confuses me. <3

XD With Midnight it's funny because (to me at least) it makes sense only until the sixth set. Then stops making sense for sets seven, eight and nine, and then set ten makes some sense again but in a different way =P (too show what I'm talking about: set one: oo; set two: ot; set three: oh (because the "t" is already being used); set four: of; set five: ov (only number so far with a "v". And no, seven doesn't count XD); set six: ox (only one with an "x"); set seven: op (here's when it doesn't make sense to me); set eight: ou (same here); set nine: oa (same here); set ten: oz (and here it makes sense because last letter=last set)
