Evangelion! Wooo.
Eva was the last thing I watched all the way through, some months ago. I LOVE the series and hope to snag the Platinum boxset sometime in the near-to-not-quite-as-near future. ;p

Hmm, wouldn't it be easier Chani if you waited for the box sets for some of them and cheaper overall even if you pay more at the time? *shrugs* I've got the sets the way I have now.... and most box sets are being released slim-cased. I'm a bit of a traditionalist *and already has artboxes that must be filled for Chrono Crusade and D.N. Angel* and I like my cased larger. ^_^

I'm watching Bleach, Naruto & Prince of Tennis. I absolutly love Bleach & Naruto. Prince of Tennis is more of a curiosity thing. I watched the live action movie of it on YouTube and I like it, but the anime is a bit different. Besides...real Japanese boys are way cuter then the 2-dimensional vaiety in some cases. Of coures, it helps that the movie had a small cameo with Mamoru Miyano, he's my current weakness. What with voicing Tamaki in Ouran Host Club, Light in Death Note and Riku of Kingdom Hearts...*squee*

I'm in love with Bleach and Prince of Tennis too! Maybe not watching it.. but the stories are great! And the manga for Naruto. Mamoru Miyano is my new Seiyuu interest! I never really cared much about seiyuu before but he is good!

I'd like to re-watch Sailor Moon though... and over the past year I was able to watch: Sailor Moon Stars, Ouran High School Host Club, PitaTen, and Aishiteru ze Baby!

Just decided to watch Magical Girl Pretty Sammy on a whim. Something about shoujo series always seems to cheer me up when I'm in pain. *shrugs* This one amuses me in particular. First Sasami just had this as a one-time joke in Tenchi Muyo TV...definitely the most hilarious of the alternate dimensions visited in that story arc. Then Mihoshi mentioned her in the special. Then MGPS gets a three-ep OVA where they more or less mock the "magical girl" genre. Then Magical Project S. And now, though I haven't seen it, the one-time joke turned parody series is about to spawn off a serious magical girl series in the same vein as Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. The circle is now complete.

^Life is win!
Since I last posted, I've watched Ouran High School Host Club, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Azumanga Daioh, and am now watching Fushiji Yuugi. (Oh yes, Nash, I do think of you) I went into FY expecting it to be fairly serious...so why am I laughing every other second? Not that I'm complaining, heh heh.
Also, that many great seiyuus shouldn't be allowed to work together. My brain exploded the moment I saw the cast list. (I mean, seriously, Kae Araki, Hikaru Midorikawa, Tomokazu Seki, Chika Sakamoto, and Koyasu Takehito? It's like a Sailor Moon/Utena seiyuu love fest)

The cast list for Fushigi Yuugi? Thanks cool! Although, I've never really liked the anime of FY as much as the manga. (Need to finish reading it!!)
Recently.. I've actually been watching Tokusatsu shows. Mainly the newest Super Sentai one: Juuken Sentai Gekiranger. It's so weird... I don't even know why I continue to watch it. (reminiscent of power ranger days?)

...and am now watching Fushiji Yuugi. (Oh yes, Nash, I do think of you) <snip> Glad to hear it! XD FY is a FANTASTIC show. So good, in fact, that it was difficult for me to convince myself that I had finally found a series that I loved even more than Sailor Moon. I didn't want to admit it, and BSSM still has a special place in my overall Anime fandom, but after watching Fushigi Yuugi all the way through I was hooked. I laughed. I cried. I give it give stars and then some. Of course, now I want to go into complete super fanboy mode and ask you where you're at in the series, what story arc, how you're liking it, what you're thinking and all that jazz. Though perhaps that would be better to move to some form of two-way communication such as IMs or PMs. ;D

Maybe you should start a thread for it! =)
I'm watching episode 14 right now (couldn't stream anything for a long time), and when Genryo appeared, I thought "HEY LOOK NASH'S LJ ICON".
It's pretty good, took me a bit to get into it though because it's a bit slow in the beginning. Haha I love Nuriko and Hotohori the more I watch it. XD

Genrou wins at life. End of story. XD I really, reeeeeeeeeeally wanna say more, but there's still another 40 or so episodes left. And Fushigi Yuugi is such an unbelievably awesome series in every freaking way, I wouldn't want to spoil a second of it for ya.

Okay, I lied. I might better go ahead and give my one complaint about the series here. The story keeps getting better and better as time goes on, but sometimes the "Next Episode" previews spoil some of the bigger surprises and plot twists.
When I recommend this show to people, I usually suggest that they mash the "Next" button to skip to the next ep, since usually you're not missing all that much. Except a few spoilers that probably shouldn't have been included in a preview...

Oh, see, I'm watching it on YT, and nobody who's uploading it includes the "next episode" preview. XD They include the "last episode" review but no the preview.
