WHO'S GOING TO THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING~ I AM I was supposed to go to IMAX (which would have been mind-blowingly amazing) but my friend didn't book the tickets in time =_= I'm not as excited for this one, because of the ending ;_; Sirius is my favorite, and I just might be a sobbing mess when he died T_T (Aaaaand that's saying a lot considering I NEVER cry, least of all at movies, but on the other hand HP5 was the first BOOK t ever make me cry because of his death... So we'll see...) It looks so cool though <3 I'm actually more looking forward to the last book's release party. I've grown up with the Harry Potter books, so while I'm not a super-uber fan and it's not a fandom of mine, it is nonetheless kinda special. So, to be seeing the LAST BOOK. WOW. I'm choosing this over Otakon! XD I'm REALLY excited for the release party, because I'll be dressing up as a Ravenclaw (House Pride! XD), and taking it a step further and acting like Luna Lovegood x) My hometown has a release party where the ENTIRE TOWN and its businesses get together to recreate Diagon Alley and Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. IT'S SO COOL So, I can't wait <3 What are you guys doing (for the movie and book)? Excited? Any thoughts? For clarification, MOVIE spoilers. We're not so horrible as to spill everything that happens in the book, now are we~? ; )

I have Wednesday afternoon off of work (HALLELUJAH) and, after I get out of the dentist (non-hallelujah), my boyfriend and I plan on catching the tail end of a matinee. <3 I'll admit, I've gotten to where I don't completely detest HP over the past year, so I'm somewhat looking forward to it ohoho. =D

I really want to go to the midnight showing tonight, but I don't think I'll make it that long. XD Plus, I'd only get to go to that showing if my friend is going, and I'm not sure what she's doing yet. Most likely I'll be going to see it around 7 tomorrow, like always. I figure that I have two more HP movies to see at midnight, so it wouldn't be the end of the world.
But the book... TOTALLY getting it at midnight!

So I went, and had a good time~ The movie was COOL, but not necessarily GOOD... A bit of a let-down, actually But at least they got Sirius' death right... I felt very hollow after the movie because he was gone ._. Sirius is my favorite character, wryyyyy T_T I was really surprised that so few people dressed up!! And the people who did were TERRIBLE. Euch.

Movie 5 spoilers. XD
I didn't go to the midnight showing, but I'll be seeing the movie tomorrow. I'm excited because the fifth book is my favorite. XD I've heard lots of mixed reviews though. Like it's too fast paced & you know. The general disappointment that readers of the book get. I'm sure I'll like it though. XD I want to see a young Moony!

She tried to call me but obviously didnt put much effort into (she only called my cell - which was dead, didnt try my home number or try to catch me online or anything). ugh. </rant> so instead im going to see it tommorow or friday ...by myself as usual because im a loser and dont have any other friends.

I watched it today ): Made me...disappointed? Iuno... there was something lacking in the story... I admit I liked the battle scenes though.. But the movie itself compared to the book... wasn't as great... =/

We went to see the movie last night, and I really enjoyed it. I generally see books and movies as two distinct entities so that doesn't bother me like I know it does some people. What DID bother me was the obscene amount of children in the theater. Honestly, it's gotten to the point where it's hardly a children's movie anymore, what with all the dramadramadrama, and dying, and lots of heavy concepts. We went at freakin' 5:30 in the afternoon and half of the children in the theater were asleep and the other half were running around being obnoxious. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I just saw the movie today at IMAX. It was really really good! I actually found it to be really good. I liked the way David Yates directed the film because it had a really realistic feel to it. The emotions were done very well and so were the camera shots. Although it's different to the book and things were cut out, I don't mind because I've started to see the two as different entities as well. I just really enjoyed the screenwork and the DA scenes were probably one of my favourites! I also loved how Yates incorporated scenes from past movies. That was nice. At least the characters were played out really well. Umbridge was great and Dumbledore wasn't as .. angry and mean like he was in movie 4.

You got it luckier than me...my friend and I went to second showing for opening day. The theatre smelt like urine, there was ALOT of children and pregant wives with children -_-;; it was rather annoying...and considering the movie itself isn't really a childrens story oO; But it was either go to that showing or go to the one after...and when we came out there was a REALLY long line for the next showing Oo;; so yea.

So I went and saw it today (yay) I thought it was excellent. I loved it. Surprisingly there werent that many people in the theater, considering it's the second day. Of course I did go in the morning, so... XD

My biggest problem is that I don't think anybody who hasn't read the book would be able to follow it very well, if at all.
I actually...didn't like Umbridge's portrayal. I dunno. I can't explain it.
