Wow, you guys are active.. I'm a lazy bum lol I'm working at a lab with all sorts of fun stuff like chemicals, cells, wierdo plant parts, etc..! Why you ask? Besides the fact that I do enjoy that kind of stuff, I'm double majoring in molecular biology and chemistry.. so I try and keep busy so I can actually finish the stuff. And my physics minor doesn't help make things any easier.
Tmf, it's so cool you are an art major. I've always loved art but I can't even draw a stick figure right. *is jealous of artistic people*

@ TMF: Ah, so are you at a general uni? Or a liberal arts college? That sounds haaaaard D: I'm at an art college, which is fun and quirky and amazing, but very limiting XD; If you want to take any kind of course outside of art, you have to go to one of the affiliated universities or colleges in the area if you can fit it in your schedule... Taking Japanese is going to be fun =_=; Thanks XD I'm going to living on my own with my own money soon, so I'm going to be intense busy like you... @ Natsumi: COOL YOU WORK WITH CHEMISTRY Chemistry is the only science I really adore <3 I'm not so big on biology, but... COOL.

I used to enjoy being an art student... until I was like "UGH. I SWEAR. If I see: photoshop, pencil, paper, paint, a mac ONE MORE TIME. I'm gonna keel over D:"
Sooooo much stress. x.x;
I'm (eventually) going to go back to school to be a teacher. :3

Yep, liberal arts college (Western Oregon University). I did a "Summer Teen Workshop" at one of the Art Institutes in Portland a few years back. People that go to schools like that are definitely interesting to say the least ^^; But then again I come from a town where people are either really conservative, or the "Hot Topic rebellious types" (who want to seem bad and all, but still shop at places owned by The Gap). No offense, I've bought some cute stuff from there, I just think people are funny XD I wish my school taught Japanese, then I could easily enjoy two years of language But alas, I'll probably just have to relearn my spanish and then try to place as high in it as I can so I have to take as few terms as possible. Either that or try out sign language... I never really got into chemistry, but I love studying animal life and stuff, which I guess is biology related. I'm not so keen on watching bacteria grow in an incubator as I am at understanding why certain animals are designed to survive certain lifestyles. I also like physics once I actually understand all the math behind it, but, that usually takes me awhile ^^; I'm gonna take general biology in the fall, which didn't look too interesting to me, but, at least it looked more appealing than earth science which was the only other science option I could fit in my schedule Oh well, I'm also taking classes like tap dance and tech theater costuming, so those should be fun XD One good thing about studio art is that you're not sitting in front of a computer as your "canvas" all the time, but have multiple mediums to work with. Although it does get tiring wearing the same thing most days so you don't ruin too many clothes with your charcoal and paint etc ^^; *is a very messy person when it comes to art* I think Beginning 3D killed me though. I know I would sometimes think, "If I have to sit in that basement from 10:00pm to 5:00am one more night, I'm gonna stick my head in the sawblade D:" jk ^^;;; But yes, working on the same thing for extended periods without much visible progress is annoying. I originally thought sculpture would be fun, but I'm slow at it, and weak, and hate inhaling the dust. Plus, everything they do in there is too much based on aesthetics and pure abstraction for my taste and current skillz. I like some subject matter D: So I'll probably try out something like printmaking or painting as my focus instead. *wishes she could make herself stop talking about school in the jobs thread* Dx I just need to go to bed

My husband works for ATT, Doe. He was a Cingular employee when they bought out ATT.
Anyway, I am a chemical engineer working for Dow Chemical. My job is ' run plant engineer' or 'production engineer' and I pretty much do all the grunt work for keeping the plant running. I like my job, even though at times the workload is frustrating.

lolz. I work for Edge Wireless, those of you familiar with Southern Oregon may be familiar with it (it's a super small cell phone company), but haha we are to be bought out by AT&T at some future date. Probably sooner than lately. That amuses me.
Hopefully I'll be accepted in to grad school and I'll be doing College Student Administrative Services stuffs... I can't remember if that's what the program is called or not. It's so long-winded. Basically I want to run a campus Residence Hall, New Studen Program type dealio or an International Studies program <3

I just graduate from a 2 year college for 'Digital Media' as they called it. I basically learn web & graphic design, along with making basic 3D models/animation and video editting. It was fun to learn all of that stuff, but I'm not sure which direction to go through. I love them all. x.x
The school wasn't really worth it, I should have went a 4 year school to learn more stuff. Oh well. My very first 2 years of college was studing computer programming. I was doing really good at first, but then it got so confusing and calculus brought me down. I gave up on it, since my grades went really bad no matter how much I tried. Then I decided to do the graphics stuff because all the fun stuff I was doing online. ^^;;
I wish everyone good luck!! <3
