Wow, my head hurts after reading all this, but I have to say I'm all for just leaving inactive card and moving up. I kind of like the number system because it's a legacy. We see all the members that have been around. Sure, I may not be able to get those coveted cards I've PM'd people for in the past, but it's still really cool to see how many members we have had and what their interests are! it's kind neat!
So I'm all for just saying if #5 goes hiatus, just leave them be and move on. Sure it means there will be a lot of cards but it will still be nifty. And of course 20 cards = 1 set, etc.
Maybe I'm off about it. Really I don't care either way, but I think it'd be cool just to move on and not take away cards from those who have gone, just because it's fun to have buttloads of cards. So umm.. Holla Nash and Mousey? What they said. *nods* Yeah.

Yay, supporters-ish! XD
I'm glad that most everyone is on the same page for the 20 cards = 1 mastery movement, though. Even though I've been with SCMR since the start, I'm fairly sure I've only mastered 2 of the 3 full sets. (I honestly quit keeping track because it's so freaking difficult.)

I like the idea of every time you get 20 new member cards you master ^^

Well, we could also have a system where we kept numbers, but didn't have specific sets... but whomever (whoever? I always get those mixed up) would remake the cards could number the cards in the relative order that people joined. (Like... Calico would stay #1 and the 2nd joined member would be #2 and so on, assuming you all have the join forms archived.) So then, after the last number of all of the current members, the numbers would keep going in the order that new members apply for member cards. This way, we can have simpler masteries *and* keep the nostalgia intact!

Yeah, it'd be nice, but most people seem to be fond of 20 cards = 1 mastery. :3 Plus, that would make everyone redo their member cards. Numbers will probably stay the same in other words, once these last 3 holes are full and we'll keep building instead. ^^;; More than likely, anyway.

I really do like the idea of just counting on.. Instead of replacing numbers.

Given that so many members have replied (16 might not seem like a lot but lulz I have a sneaking suspicion that it's the best we're going to get!), an announcement will be made regarding the member card system during this weekend's routine update. <3
In the mean time, keep on discussing things! XD

I really like the new system. will we be keeping the numbers or getting rid of them because they have no purpose anymore... (and not having them/beign able to have them in order will really bug me. XD )

The numbers are staying, haha. Mainly out of convenience for everyone, so I don't have to remake them and you guys don't have to re-upload. XD
