Which incarnation of SM do you like best? Personally, I've always enjoyed the anime the most. The manga is fine, the live-action is...something...and I admit I've only ever seen one clip of the musical. (And seeing Uranus prancing around was enough to turn me off from that XD)

I'm all over the manga. I just think it's sweet, and the plots are a lot more interesting without having to plug in MOTW.

Hard to say. I fell in love with the anime at first, but I see a lot of things in the manga that I actually prefer. Never seen the musicals, but I'm a huge fan of the LA. Think I might go with that, if for no other reason than it had perhaps my favorite version of my beloved Rei-sama in it.

I love the comic to pieces, the live action being a close second. Actually, I may have to reconsider that order because of Motoki in a turtle suit. However, I agree about the musicals...but I watch them for that very reason of seeing Uranus prance around on stage. XD

Hello, shiney anime, with the walking, talking Minako! That's all I need. The LA would've been better if my Minako wasn't so...LA Minako-y.
I should be a poet.

That's kinda hard. For most other series, I'd probably choose manga straight away because it's original and the pictures are nice. I did end up choosing manga for Sailor Moon but I got introduced first to the anime and it'll always be one of the best anime ever!!
There's a lot of things I liked about the anime that just don't happen in the manga so I still really love the anime but I guess because I've actually read all of the manga, it just feels more complete.
I liked the LA version but it kinda got a bit weird towards the end so yea... and I've always wanted to see the musicals but there are so many I don't know where to start. ^^;

I prefer the anime, because it was my first "real" anime - before I didn't know all my childhood heroes were anime, too... Without SaMo I had never become a anime/manga fan as I am today - and I had never found my boy-friend ^^

Anime! It was my very first as well. I watched it even before My Neighbour Totoro! It got me into anime. ^_^

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I've yet to answer this! O:
Calico knows my jealous love for the manga, considering I'm always pulling out the phrase "WELL IN THE MANGA.." in our Sailormoon-related conversations. XD
Having watched the entire anime, the entire live-action spiel, and read the original MiXX print sof the manga .... I can safely say that the manga is my favorite version! I'm a manga person in the first place, and the characterization in the anime pales in comparison to the manga. Even if the manga does move at a very fast pace, the story doesn't draggggggg onnnnnnn like parts of the anime tend to do! ;p
(I find it funny that manga is winning in the poll, but almost all of the replies have been for the anime. Hah!)

Yeah, who are these mysterious manga fans? I see the replies, and I'm like, "hm, but I thought the manga..." and then I see the results.

Obviously you hardXcore manga fans are the silent, mysterious type!
Is this an ominous sign, Mousey? D=

It could, INDEED, be an ominous sign!
Therefore I'll just need to be something like ... eight times as voiciferous, so I can make up for their silence! >3

Hard to say. For the first few "seasons", I'm totally diggin' the anime. Yeah, seeing Mamo-chan's face melt off in like, the 3rd issue totally turned me off to that. But after S, the manga seems to catch me more. I totally couldn't explain it either. >D

Haha, I think I get what you're saying though Minalover! The first few arcs of the manga are really, really heavy in subject matter and lacking the sheer idiocy of a lot of the filler episodes of Classic, R and S. ^_^;; When compared to the anime, SuperS and Stars make a LOT more sense in the manga. That's where the storylines started to diverse so much. I mean, the entire ending of the series? ; Sheesh.
